Session Highlights:

Source routing 2.0: Why now, why again?
Speaker: Nick Slabakov, architect
When: Wednesday, June 3, 2015, 11:30 a.m.12 p.m. PT
Where: Grand Ballroom
Details: Recent buzz around Segment Routing (a.k.a. SPRING) has re-invigorated interest in source routing technologies and their potential benefits. For many operators, however, moving to SPRING represents a significant change in their operating practices, so a more incremental approach is needed. In this talk, Slabakov will review SPRING/Segment Routing and will focus on using existing protocols for achieving operational benefits.

Architecture for fine-grain, high-resolution telemetry for network elements
Speaker: Rafal Szarecki, solutions architect
When: Wednesday, June 3, 2015, 12:30 – 1 p.m. PT
Where: Grand Ballroom
Details: Networks are evolving quickly into highly automated, self-adapting, intelligent integrated systems. However, even the most intelligent system can only make decisions that are as good as the information it is given. This session will explore the benefits, trials and tribulations of an architecture that enables high-frequency export of telemetry data from network elements and how operators can overcome these challenges.

RSVP-TE usability at scale
Speaker: Ravi Singh, principal software engineer
When: Wednesday, June 3, 2015, 5:30 – 6 p.m. PT
Where: Grand Ballroom
Details: Though RSVP-TE is widely deployed, various operational challenges still exist. This session will briefly summarize operationally-relevant issues associated with deploying RSVP-TE at scale, as well as provide practical recommendations on how to address these issues.

In addition, Juniper will be sponsoring the Beer ‘n’ Gear event taking place on Tuesday, June 2 from 6 – 8 p.m. in the California East/West and Elizabethan Ballrooms. Some of the innovations being showcased include the recently announced Juniper Networks® QFX10000 line of spine switches, the ACX5000 Metro Ethernet router and the SRX220 Services Gateway.
